Warren Buffett may be your best investment guide- MSN Money states, that a $10,000 stake in Berkshire Hathaway in 1964 would have grown to $80 million during the Oracle of Omaha's tenure. Index funds and mutual funds are far behind.

Warren looks for companies with low debt, with cash and with an advantage over companies in the same sector or industry. We look for grass fed beef ranch operations with no debt after purchase that has an advantage. (Great Cash Flow)

We believe in the book written by Major General Joseph Franklin, "Building Leaders the West Point Way" and the U.S. Military Academy's Honor Code making honesty and integrity the foundation of success.  "Building Leaders the West Point Way," looks to the Cadet Prayer to show how to act with honor in any situation: "Choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong."

We believe in America and unlike most investors, we do not tweak our portfolio depending on which party is coming into office or where we are in the economic cycle.   We are not naive, we just believe in America and of course had rather buy when the market overall is in a negative mood.  So we are putting money to work when many have lost faith in the United States of America and it's economic system.

And Warren Buffett wrote, "these businesses will indeed suffer earnings hiccups, as they always have," he wrote, also, "that most major companies will be setting new profit records five, ten and twenty years from now."  (October, 2009)

We want to be honest and dependable;  and place stock in the values we operate by within the company.
1.  Live by them... Values such as integrity and accountability make a key difference in any company.
2.  Give power to people...We let our employees give  ground level input as to how we are operating.
3.  We want them to operate at the standard level of doing what you say you are going to do.
4.  Control our emotions...when we take our emotions out of the decision process, we will think and act more clearly.  We will follow the principles we have set forth and won't make rash decisions.
5.  Consider and reflect on our values before taking action.
6.  Tell the tale and walk the walk.  By relating stories throughout the company about the values within they will come into play and it helps show their importance.
7.  Be considerate of employees and clients and help others while allowing some to criticize when needed.
8.  Practise...Make it a habit to consider your principles before taking any action.
9.  Take charge and take responsibility for living up to high standards.

In November 1963, with the Dow at 740, the great investor Benjamin Graham declared that "in my 50 years in Wall Street.  I've found I know less and less about what the stock market is going to do, but I know more and more about what the investors ought to do".  Graham went on to counsel that investors should never have less than 25% or more than 75% of their money in the stock market and they should move toward the maximum as the market falls and toward the minimum as it rises.  Warren Buffett looks for companies of value with good cash flow.  This is our goal of operation of the total company.
